Tanay Kumar Das

1. Learn a word a day
2. Watch cricket/football commentary
3. Read short stories of Arthur Conan Doyle featuring Sherlock Holmes (any dynamic, thrilling short story as you don't have the patience to read a novel.)
4. If you use windows 8, install wordbook, which is an easy to use dictionary.
5. Read blogs, articles etc. in your areas of interest. (e.g., Travel, Automobiles, Sports)
6. Play Scrabble, and other word games.
7. While learning words, try to associate them with their picture.
A tip: Search for words in Google images than just in Google web.

8. Type something you like in Microsoft Word and try to replace words with their synonyms. (Just right-clicking on the word will show you the synonyms tab)

9. Slowly, slowly develop an affinity towards reading, believe me, it's worth the effort.
