"Why do you want to work here?" "Where do you see yourself in five years?" Familiarize yourself with these types of behavioral and situational questions. 2. Use the STAR Method For situational questions, structure your answers using: Situation – Set the scene. Task – What was your responsibility? Action – What did you do? Result – What was the outcome? 3. Reflect on Your Experiences Make a list of personal examples from past jobs, school, or projects. Think about: Conflict resolution Teamwork Leadership Adaptability Communication 4. Know the Company Be ready to align your answers with the company’s mission, values, and culture. Tailor your responses to show you’re a fit. 5. Practice Out Loud Saying your answers out loud helps with confidence and clarity. Practice with a friend, mentor, or even record yourself. 6.
