How can I get the fluency in speaking English? When I talk with my friends in English, that time it is ok but, when I come to my home, I use my mother tongue for communication. In this way, I don't get much time to speak English. So, how to get an English speaking environment?

It is very simple to boost your fluency. It cannot be achieved by reading or learning grammar. It is only the game of practice. The way we learn cycling, biking cricket or other games, English fluency can also be achieved.

Dear Chandan,Like any other language, it needs to be kept inflow via conversation. Talking about an environment, you can create it by yourself. The most prominent element is self-confidence and having the gut instinct to achieve the fluidity.

Hi Chandan, It's a great start that you realise it and are willing to work on it. You could always try to talk to your friends. Even I grew up in a household where English was not spoken at home, but that did not affect my language abilities. Make sure you create an environment for yourself. Listen to English music, watch shows/movies/cartoons. Read simple books. Whatever is your interest. Make learning fun. Don't think of it as an exercise or a task to do. You can join some group discussion classes where the focus is only on speaking. (you can get in touch for that). There are many apps these days where you can talk to people from all over the world just to practice. It's a great way of learning, might make new friends too! read less
