Homographs are words written in similar fashion but carry different meanings. For example, the word 'rest'; it has two meanings: 1. Relaxation, releif 2. Indicates the remaining mass of a group

Holography are two words which are spelt exactly the same but have different meanings. For eg SAW (verb) in verb form means seeing something. SAW (noun) an instrument used for cutting woof.
