One thing is that u shud b comfortable in d methods she /he uses..make sure she doesn't solely focus on grammar not on spoken...& most importantly she will make each class interesting for u. German is the most widely spoken language in Europe. Knowing German language creates business/job opportunities. So I think you should go for it.
