There are 3 or 4 concepts of poverty..A) Absolute poverty & relative poverty..A means those who are absolutely poor .downtrodden by lack of jobs like farming is Dying breed of people ..no incomes no education & lives in I'll health ..do not get 2100.calories of food or sabjer or milk or .this is basic poverty people living below the critical poverty line & B means people who do have necessities like food some lower or wages but lack other things like water ..live in squalor ..compared to urban poor..there are more than one half 70 to 80 Crores living in present India..Dr K S Velmurugan Pondicherry
