IN Indian Democracy, the role of Poltical Institutions ar Ultimate and FINAL in any Executive Decision . the Party in power brings a legislation in the form of a BILL in lok sabha ,and when , passed with 2/3 majority,.. It is then forwarded to the UPPER HOUSE..namely Rajya Sabha , where if is passed after debate unanimously or if contested with 2/3 majority voting , then it si forwarded ot the President who declares it as an ACT of the Parliament .. this is how major Political or Economic policies like Panchayati Raj Act, Industrial policies 1956, 1970, 1973 Licensing policies and much later crucial policies like Socialistic pattern of society,and to curb Monopoly Restrictive Trade Practices ACT 1969 .,was passed ..and much later the FERA & COFEPOSA Acts were passed .. as regarding the Banks , the social Control on banks legislations was done by politcal goverment,before , in 1969, Nationalisation of Banks was done by our Indian Prime Minister shrimathi Indira Gandhi .. in mid 1970's..finally the policy of Liberlisation ,Privitasation, and Globalisation of Indian economy was passed by parliament and and handed to to the Executive throught the supreme Authority of President of India .it is hall mark of how Indian economy functions in Indian Political Democracy ..
