On the other hand, rapid colonisation carried out by the britishers in other part of the world required them to transport industrial raw material from the colonies to Britain which required them to invest heavily on Commercial ship making. Hence, based on these two points, we can conclude that Ship Industry was one of the factors responsible for deforestration in India. read less
