1) Due to inequalities of income within a family, i.e., adults earn while rest of the family ill-treated older adults who have retired from their services
2) This is so because they do not get jobs and hence, do not contribute much to the family. Women, small children can also be included in this list
3) Too much burden with less income is the main cause of suffering in these families
4) Poor people are the one who suffers the poverty most. Landlessness, hunger, lack of shelter, unemployment, large family size, illiteracy, poor health, malnutrition, child labour, Helplessness etc. are features of poor people.
5) In the family, children, women and old age person have to suffer more. All of them are dependent group but poverty not only unavail them their basic minimum needs, but many a time they have to suffer helplessness or indulge in hard work, e.g. a poor child, who has to experience not only from malnutrition, lack of access to health and education but sometimes have to indulge in child labour.
Thus, it can be concluded that in low-income families all suffer, but some suffer more than others.
