10mints - 10 mints, 4 times in a day is sufficient if you learn from an informed teacher and by right way learning.

Start by an hour daily and work through that. Keep increasing the time gradually. If you feel tired, listen to your body and take a break for that day. Also, it is very important to work at different aspects of voice.
