Requirement from multiple ways (Called as modules). You will be master in one module, choose a course as per you background and your interest. Dear Shantham, Good and obvious question. Well, being end user, you would have already some good understanding of business processes for some particular industry(s). And,I guess, you would have done enough Transactions in SAP system. Also, this means you would have understanding of relevant Master Data for which you process Transactions. So, I think, more you can focus on Configuration, Reporting, Roles & Authorizations, and understand custom objects RICEFW and should learn how do you write Functinal Specs for those objects and submit to Technical/Development team. You may self learn or with help of some colleague who already works as SAP Consultant and refer some materials on Internet. Later, if you can manage, you can get access/rights to all the above mentioned entities. Then, practice enough and you would be ready for the Interview. You may get hired internally in your IT dept. or with some external company(s). And for your hopes, I believe, in SAP support projects, considering Client's billing, Freshers or very less experienced Champs are always needed, where you can start up the journey.
