Hi, I am currently working as a QA Manual test engineer from last five years. Will it be okay to move from testing to SAP like SAP Basis?

Yes you can, but it would be better if you chose functional module instead of technical, like MM

In case you feel you are comfortable in going into this domain, then you should go. There are other modules as well in SAP like SALES, Purchase,finance,Service, ABAP. As you have asked about SAP Basis its a technical module in SAP, here you have another option SAP ABAP (programmer). For SAP Basis you need to have networking experience, and for SAP ABAP you should have programming background such as C, C++ language.If you don't have an interest in technical modules, you can plan for functional modules like SAP SD, MM, FI/CO, PP-QM, PS and PM.
