I hail from traditional Kuchipudi Family . I have been well trained in Dance and Music from guru Dr.Pasumarthi SeshuBabu and guru Komanduri Seshadri. Am a graduate in Music and post graduate in Dance from Hyderabad Central University passed out with distinction. I have started teaching students since 8 years. My style of teaching is pure Traditional. Patience and conducting classes are my strengths. I love Dance and Music related topics.

About Myself: Without a formal guru, Raghava has miraculously developed the skill of music and has in fact to the astonishment of best of the musician has showcased the God’s gift to the who’s who of the music circle.He is used to play any kind of song on piano by node knowledge. Teachers, Head master of the school and Parents have encouraged Raghava to pursue his interest and then it was the turn of Raghava to make use of the opportunity to learn carnatic vocal classical music under Gurus around 15 years. He travelled with well versed Gurus. It was in1989, at the age of 7,Raghava played a song on piano of Annamayya Sankeerthana in Ravindra Bharathi, at Hyderabad and in fact that was his first “professional” assignment. This concert has taken Raghava places and the who’s who of the music circles started recognizing him as a “Musician”.Similarly it was in 1991,at the age of 9,He made a performance on piano in YMCA Club, in front of Dept. of art and culture, officials of Japan. While continuous It was in 1997, pallavi play on veena in Ravindra Bharathi, at Hyderabad it was an historical part of journey. However, despite a spate of success in all that he has done, Raghava believes in being a musician and he has drawn rich experience from all those assignments to again fortify his vocals.

MY TEACHING EXPERIENCE: I have tutored for 3 years and worked as a science demonstrator for 2 years at a science museum. I taught Carnatic music, light music and slokas to many people at various occasions. WHAT I LOVE ABOUT TEACHING: I enjoy the spark I see in the students' eyes when they learn something new from me. That gives me more motivation to teach. MY TEACHING STYLE: I divide the class time into sections for different activities to keep up the activeness and give some activity to work on between the classes. I give attention to detail to ensure perfection.

I encourage students to understand the meaning and context of what they sing so that they can connect with the Bhaava and devotional quality of the music. My inspiration to learn, perform, and teach music comes from the lives and works of great composers such as Saint Tyagaraja and Purandara Dasa. Their compositions carry profound messages and reflect devotion, spirituality, and values that continue to inspire generations. I believe that understanding this background can help students experience Carnatic music not only as a performing art but also as a meaningful and enriching tradition. I welcome male students at different levels of learning and adapt my teaching according to their musical understanding and progress. I focus on helping students develop their Sruthi awareness, Swara understanding, Raaga knowledge, vocal expression, and overall confidence in performance. I encourage students to practise consistently and develop patience and discipline as they progress in their musical journey. I offer both online and offline Carnatic Vocal Music classes. With more than two decades of experience as a teacher and performer, my aim is to guide students towards a strong musical foundation while helping them experience the beauty, devotion, emotion, and deeper meaning of Carnatic music.
