I have been teaching since last 7 years. Teaching started out of my passion. What i like about teaching music is students gradually start realizing that Indian Classical is not just an art of performing, but it is a way to discover yourself. It reflects in their behavior and actions. I prefer teaching individual student at a time. Though i don't mind 2-3 students at a time, unless it is required by the students themselves. I have taught students of various age groups ranging from 8 to 50. Generating interest is challenging in kids, however, they possess highest grasping power. Their personality shapes through Music.

Should young kids start vocal lessons or will it damage their voice? 

Learning vocal ideally should start at the age of around 3-5 yrs.. It doesn't damage voice, in fact, that is the age when grasping is maximum.
