Thereafter she trained for fourteen years under Padmabhushan Late Smt. Shobha Gurtu in Light Classical Music (Thumri, Dadra, etc.). She is a graded artiste of A.I.R. (All India Radio) and has performed all over India and has been well appreciated for her style, finesse and creativity by audiences, critics and press. Aditi has done her M.Phil (Music) from Delhi Univ. with distinction with her subject "Influence of Tappa on Music of Bengal". Aditi Banerjee is equally proficient in Ghazal, Bhajan, Rabindra Sangit, Bengali Tappa, Nazrul Geeti, etc.
