Hello, I am Indian classical Vocals teacher, with a background of 12 years. Completed my Sangeet Visharad from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharv Maha Vidyalaya Mandal, Miraj [ABGMVM] in the year 2010. Currently I am also appearing for Sangeet Alankar Part I from ABGVM. Managed classes of up to 20-25 students, including private teaching sessions. Developed a teaching program for student to appear for ABGMVM exams.

DeepShikha is an established & trained Indian Vocalist, Instructor and Performer with more than 30 yrs of experience in Hindustani Classical Music. Learnt music under Guru- Shishya Parampara from eminent Gurus and given prestigious performances nationwide and abroad. DeepShikha is a Gold Medalist from Bhatkhande University and Sangeet Alankaar in Classical Music. A registered Guru from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidhyalaya, she has done many recordings for AIR, Doordarshan and music videos. She has her own Music Academy "Sangeetayan" where she has more than 100 students getting trained under her.

I am learning classical music from Dr. Mohan Darekar, a renowned classical singer and a disciple of renowned singer Pt Jitendra Abhisheki, Pt Rajan, and Pt Sajan Mishra. I have been enhancing my singing proficiencies in various forms like Gazal, Thumari, and Hindi-Marathi Playback from Dr. Sanjeev Shende over a long period of time. I've sung a title song for a marathi movie this year. I've been experimenting with vocal styles and genres, and my goal is to train more students to be versatile and choose their own path, because I believe Vocals are a very big field and there's a lot to explore! I've also judged multiple competitions in Pune colleges, one being Mood Indigo elims. I would love to teach and bring more people, including children, into this field, without making it boring, ofcourse.
