My mother enrolled me in a Bharatnatyam class when I was 4 years old and I am forever grateful to her. I have been learning the Tanjavur style of Bharatnatyam for almost 20 years. I have had the privilege of learning under multiple accomplished Gurus who were disciples of Bharatnatyam phenomenons such as Sucheta Bhide-Chapekar and Smita Mahajan. In 2024, I completed my Visharad Purna exam. I have won multiple local dance competitions and have represented my college in University events. Professionally, I am Veterinary Intern with a special interest in wildlife medicine and conservation. But my heart still feels empty. My immense love for animals is the only thing that kept me from pursuing a professional career in dance. So here I am, trying to fulfill my little dream of teaching future Bharatnatyam dancers:)

From my first tentative steps in the room to dazzling performances on grand stages, I've honed my craft in various styles like Bharatnatyam, Rabindra Nritya, Bihu and Semi classical dance.
