Will I be penalized in speaking tasks for not having an accent from a native English speaking country?

NO you won't be penalized. It just looks at your knowledge of the language and doesn't test for your accent as they realize you are a non-native speaker.

no...its nt true..u need to be clear while speaking..pearson itself guides that u need nt to follow any accent..u have to neutral and clear only while speaking..fluency does matters a lot..and moreover pearson accepts more than 100 accents..
