Photography is an art form arose from advancement in technology which allowed photographer to manipulate their image to fit their artistic expression.

It t is easy to view the photographer as artist when taking all of the creative photography choices they make into consideration: subject, lighting techniques, camera framing, lens choice, symbolism, technical settings, post-processing, and many more decisions are what makes photography an art.
