I suggest you use more visuals and put some effort into making interactive presentations for the students. Voice modulation also plays a huge role in interacting with students, increasing your voice's tone after every 10 minutes or so will help students realise that something important is going on. Finally, you should engage students by asking questions in between the lecture. This will show how attentive the students were and, if they weren't, they will start looking for the answers thereby increasing engagement.
