I teach Spoken English, focusing on improving students’ communication skills, fluency, and confidence. With 8 years of teaching experience, I have helped learners of different ages and professional backgrounds develop strong English-speaking abilities, enabling them to express themselves clearly in academic, professional, and social settings.

I hold an M.A. in Sociology, which has strengthened my understanding of communication, culture, and human interaction. Alongside my academic background, I have gained training and practical experience in teaching Spoken English and soft skills, helping students overcome language barriers and improve their fluency.

My teaching journey began in administration, where I worked for 18 years in a central government organization. While helping visually impaired students in 2003, I discovered my passion for teaching. Since then, I have focused on online teaching, conducting interactive sessions that balance theory, practice, and real-life application. I have worked with a wide range of learners, including school students, college and university students, working professionals, teachers, nurses, advocates, managers, and chartered accountants.

Over the years, I have developed a student-centered teaching approach. I design sessions that are tailored to each learner’s needs, providing practical exercises and real-life speaking opportunities. My classes are interactive, encouraging students to participate actively, ask questions, and practice continuously. I emphasize understanding the concepts thoroughly and gradually building confidence in using English effectively.

Being a multi-linguist, I can explain concepts in a student’s mother tongue when needed, which greatly enhances comprehension and retention. This ability has proven particularly useful for learners struggling with pronunciation, grammar, or fluency, helping them achieve noticeable improvement quickly.

Although I have not received formal awards in teaching, my most significant achievement is the successful transition from administration to education, where I have empowered numerous students to enhance their Spoken English and soft skills. Positive feedback from students and peers motivates me to continually refine my methods and deliver high-quality instruction.

I primarily conduct online classes, using PPTs and videos to make sessions engaging and interactive. My structured methodology ensures that each lesson is clear, practical, and results-oriented. By focusing on consistent practice, interactive activities, and gradual confidence-building, I help students achieve meaningful progress in their communication skills.
