"To start with, I know Prasoon from my school days. We have studied together for more than 5 years, so I feel that I can give a fair feedback on his approach, his understanding and his enthusiasm towards knowledge (both gaining and spreading). From the beginning, he was always inclined to understand the basics first before going into the depth. He was one of the best guys who could and would explain the concepts to whoever comes to his help as he was one of the bright students of my class. Although there were other toppers, however his approach and patience in explaining each and every detail has earned him the respect of other classmates. He was not very good in maths in the beginning and I am proud to say that I helped him with some of the maths sums. However, his dedication and unrelenting pursue of knowledge has earned him the title of an IITian. Its been a very long time since we parted our ways after completing 10th in 2001. We met a couple of times after but were constantly in touch with each other. In this period of IT revolution where everyone is choosing an offer in an IT company for easy living, he chose the PhD path to satisfy his thirst for knowledge. Initially I thought he was just hungry for knowledge, but when I recently met him in Mumbai another brilliant aspect of his personality came to my understanding. He is not just hungry for knowledge but also determined to contribute back to the society. Oh man, I know very few people who are so much fascinated with their contribution to the society. As far as his way of teaching is concerned, he is inspirational, devoted and patient which I believe are the most important qualities in a teacher. As far as his knowledge is concerned, I am not the best person to comment on it. His degree, his qualification speaks a lot about him."
