From the start, I emphasize non-destructive editing through adjustment layers, masks, and smart objects, as this forms the foundation of professional workflows. Students learn how to manage projects efficiently while maintaining flexibility in their edits. Once the basics are clear, I guide learners into photo editing and retouching. This includes color correction, exposure adjustments, skin retouching, and restoring old images. Through practical exercises, students not only improve technical accuracy but also develop an eye for detail and quality. Beyond editing, I focus on creative design projects such as posters, social media graphics, and branding elements. Here, I integrate design principles like contrast, balance, and typography. Students practice combining stock imagery with original ideas to create professional-looking designs. Using tools like the Pen Tool, Select and Mask, and channels, students learn how to create precise cutouts and composites. These skills are particularly useful for digital art, advertisements, and product photography. To connect learning with real-world needs, I incorporate practical assignments such as designing mockups, preparing images for print, and creating digital assets for web use. I also teach workflow shortcuts, batch processing, and integration with other Adobe software to improve efficiency. Throughout my sessions, I prioritize hands-on learning and feedback.
