Alongside, Ashish has also completed his post graduation in Film studies, from Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. Specialised in film sound design and mixing engineering.

Hi, I'm a guitarist and want to learn vocals. Which one should I go with? Is it western, Indian ,Carnatic?...

All three genres are different. However Hindustani and Carnatic are bit similar in learning process. But eventually the music itself is quite different sounding. So you listen all three, and according to your liking, decide which one you want to sing! :)

How many months of course would Hindustani music would be?

Depending on your grasping abilities and practice time, to understand the very basics, at-least 12-24 months it’s definitely going to take.

What is the price of singing classes for 1 month only Hind songs is wanted?

Frequency of the class is up to you. Otherwise Rs.500 per session (1 - 1 1/2 hour).

Should I do some exercise for singing high notes?

Yes, and the exerciser should be your throat. Keep practicing (even sa, re, ga ma, pa, dha, ni, sa? or any alankar will do) every day, for at least half an hour to one hour! You'll see the improvement in a week.
