Hello, my name is Aamir Sohail. I am a graduate of Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, one of India’s premier and most prestigious institutions. I am a specialized Physics and Mathematics educator with over 15 years of teaching experience, mentoring students for highly competitive examinations such as JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and NEET.
Over the years, I have trained more than 10,000 students, many of whom have successfully secured excellent ranks in JEE and NEET examinations. Alongside competitive exam preparation, I also provide strong academic support for board examinations at the highest level of preparation and conceptual clarity.
My teaching expertise extends across multiple national and international curricula, including CBSE, ICSE, IIT-JEE curriculum, AS & A Levels, IB Curriculum, HSC, and several state boards. Currently, I teach students from more than 30 countries, which has given me extensive exposure to diverse educational systems and examination patterns. This allows me to adapt my methodology effectively according to each student’s academic background and goals.
I strongly believe in the concept of “Reverse Teaching,” where teaching is not limited to one-way lecturing. Instead, I focus heavily on student interaction, conceptual engagement, and continuous feedback. Whenever I explain a concept, I ensure that the student is not only able to understand it theoretically, but can also apply it confidently to standard, twisted, and application-based problems. My teaching methodology emphasizes analytical thinking, conceptual depth, and real-time problem-solving ability.
Throughout my career, I have taught at several reputed coaching institutes and academies. I have worked with multiple established educational organizations, including institutes in Mumbai and other major academic centers. Later, along with a dedicated academic team, I helped establish independent coaching setups focused on high-quality conceptual education. In parallel, I continue to work as an individual freelance educator, personally mentoring students at both one-to-one and group levels.
Every competitive examination has its own unique pattern and demand. NEET, JEE Advanced, BITSAT, and various state-level engineering examinations all require different approaches and strategies. My goal is to help students move beyond conventional and time-consuming study methods and guide them toward a smarter, more structured, and result-oriented approach to learning.
For students preparing for JEE Advanced in Physics, I generally recommend a strong foundation through books like Concepts of Physics, along with advanced practice from cengage publications, I.E. Irodov, and selected high-level conceptual problems. Since many students are already enrolled in coaching institutes, I also integrate their institutional study materials with carefully selected reference books for maximum efficiency.
For Mathematics, I primarily guide students through advanced resources such as the Black Book series, cengage materials, and coaching modules, depending on the student’s preparation level and target examination.
I offer both one-to-one personalized mentoring and structured group classes, allowing students to choose the learning environment best suited to their needs.
