Are you planning to work in India or or foreign. If in India persue post graduation in C.S.

Hi Simran, If you are interested in the field of research, then i better suggest you to select M.Sc in Biotechnology or Microbiology. During PG you can prepare for competitive exams like DBT-JRF, NET-JRF , ICMR JRF, JGEEBILS for PhD in reputed institutes like IISc, CCMB, IISER etc, if you want to sneak into the industry there is DBT-BITP (Biotechnology Industrial Training Program) exam, if you clear the exam you can select any reputed biotech companies for 6 months project where you get a stipend of Rs10000 per month and you have 90% chance of getting selected in the same company. Nowadays most of the biotech industries prefer M.Sc Chemistry candidates, so if you want to do job in biotech companies you can go for M.Sc Chemistry. If you are wiling to do any jobs or go for civil services you better start applying for civil service exams or bank exams. I hope this was useful. Wish you all the best.

Parallel computing means that different activities happen at the same time. The term was mostly used in scientific computing (consumer computers until very recently simply were not parallel) where it typically means: spread out a single application over many many cores/processors/processes to get it done bigger/faster. Current big parallel computers have 100 thousand to a million parallel processors/cores/threads/whatever. Distributed computing comes from the business world where you have distributed systems such as airline reservation systems, where many people access and modify the same data at the same time. The machinery involved here is typically much looser coupled, and the activities in a distributed system are typically far less synchronized.

Vijaya Gugulothu | 05/11/2016

Distributing Computing System: Distributed Computing is a field of computer science that studies distributed systems. A distributed system is a model in which components located on networked computers communicate and coordinate their actions by passing messages. The components interact with each other in order to achieve a common goal. Parallel Computing: Parallel computing is a type of computation in which many calculations or the execution of processes are carried out simultaneously. Large problems can often be divided into smaller ones, which can then be solved at the same time.

If f(X) = (1/2) X^2, then f(12) = 72, and f(8) = 32. Or you can think of it as X * (X/2).

Poonam Garg | 03/09/2016

12:72 means multiply first no. By half of itself. ie. 12*6=72. In the same way, 8*4=32.
