It is not about why you should, the fact is that you will inevitably end up depending on it in your career. Many people go years without using any Excel, but if you are doing any analysis, then you definitely should know how to use it. Excel is the most widely used tool for any analysis. When one starts to learn excel for the first time., you would think you would be perfect in excel, you would get to know the essential functions and would navigate through easily. After a week, you will find out that you did not see an ounce. Many uses excel, barely scratch the surface. Its lot more into it. So yeah, excel will be crucial for you to learn. read less
