Cellpadding is used for specifying the distance between cell contents and its boundaries. It is a critical formatting feature of a web document. It is used to determine the space between the edges of the cells. It is also used in cell contents, and its default value is zero. Cellpadding controls the amount of space between the contents of the cell from the cell wall. On the other hand, Cellspacing is an essential attribute of <table> tag in IIS7 the property, which increases the space between the cells of the table. You can actually see that cell spacing increase the border of the table. Cell spacing is one also used for formatting, and its default value is zero. Padding is used to set an extra spacing, which is further used to separate cell walls from their contents. But in contrast, cell spacing is used to set space between cells.
