To build the android applications you can use Java and Kotlin languages. The android sdk is very flexible, like you can write code of one activity in Java and if you know Kotlin you can write another activity in Kotlin.

It's better idea to go with building in native android, hybrid will have to many dependency on libraries and its not good approach.
