Privileges: Some system apps like backup utilities require root/superuser privileges. These are known as root apps. #4. Source code: Open-source apps make their source code freely available on public repositories like GitHub. However, an open-source app does not have to be free although most of them are. #5. Price: Apps can also be categorized as freeware, ad-supported, freemium (free but supports in-app purchases), trial/demo, paid (one-time charge) or subscription-based (recurring monthly/yearly fee) for a service. read less

And another way is developing an app (Single project) which runs in all these platforms using javascript there are few frameworks to develop hybrid apps among them Ionic framework is famous which makes use of javascript and html. Using this you can develop an app and deploy it all different platforms and thus you can run them in IOS mobile, Android mobile as well as windows. I am trying to make an hybrid mobile app using javascript, html5, css3 but I am facing lot of challenges. If any one can help me, it would be a great help.
It's better idea to go with building in native android, hybrid will have to many dependency on libraries and its not good approach.
