One of the cool tricks I think few people know is to create a graph that auto-updates as new data is added to a spreadsheet. This might not be ultra mind-blowing if you have like one graph but think of a document linked to hundreds of Excel graph objects that you need to update every quarter, for example, like earnings reports and financial data. This method could save you hours, and it uses only two little-known Excel features: OFFSET and names. It can just speed up the process of summarizing stats and could get a quick graphic representation automatically. The quickest of the tools for data analysis are pivot tables. What is the use of Data validation commond. can you demonstare the example in common life?

The point of data validation is to pick the list in a drop down fashion. It will ease your work by allowing you to select the entries from the drop down rather than you writing for it. It saves a lot of time when it comes to large dataset.
