When my employer writes a proposal to compete for and win a project, each person’s credentials and experience are listed. The company president’s qualifications list: his title, certifications, previous employers, 33 yearsexperience,and a list of recognizable projects. The other team members’ qualifications are listed. Then comes the page with my name and [outdated, cheesy 🤓] photo. Education: no engineering or architectural degree, a technical certificate that doesn't even apply, but49 years experience!Sure, I was in the work force 49 years ago, but Excel wasn't! My first exposure to aspreadsheetwas a paper and pencil ledger or logbook. I knew how they worked long before Excel. read less
