Yes, in my opinion, you need to learn MS Excel, because most of the visualization tools in Data Analytics uses Excel data or function to manipulate the data. Yes, in my opinion, you need to learn MS Excel, because most of the visualization tools in Data Analytics uses Excel data or function to manipulate the data. So, it is useful and helpful to have knowledge in MS Excel, so that it will be easier for you to manipulate and visualize the data. Also, Power BI and MS Excel are Microsoft tools. So, Power BI internally uses the formulas of MS excel to manipulate all the data. Hence, it is always better to learn MS Excel before you learn Power BI and Data Analytics. read less
