Dear Rama, premedicine or first year, you have to read anatomy, physiology and biochemistry.. Biochemistry teaches: mainly about the food and metabolism(like carbo, proteins, fats, nucleic acids). Physiology: teaches how it is digested (stomach: gastric juice, liver bile juice, pancreas- pancreatic juice e etc) Anatomy teaches: parts of digestive system, and how they are present in the body and structural organization..
