I am a Mathematics teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience. I have been providing Mathematics tuition since 2010 through both individual classes and batches. I primarily teach students from Classes 9 to 12, with a particular focus on Classes 11 and 12. My teaching is centred around developing strong conceptual understanding, improving problem-solving skills, and helping students approach their examinations with greater confidence.
I have completed my Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from Calcutta University. Over the years, my extensive teaching experience has helped me develop a strong understanding of the academic requirements of senior school students. I have worked with students following different curricula and understand the importance of adapting my teaching approach according to the board, syllabus, and individual learning needs of each student.
I have experience teaching Mathematics to students from ICSE, CBSE, IB, and IGCSE boards. Working with students from different educational backgrounds has given me exposure to different syllabi, question patterns, and approaches to learning Mathematics. I focus on helping students understand the underlying concepts clearly so that they can apply their knowledge effectively across different types of questions.
Along with school-level Mathematics, I also provide coaching for competitive and aptitude-based examinations. My areas of preparation include SAT, CLAT, MAT, JMAT, NAMT, and BBA entrance examinations. These exams often require students to develop speed, accuracy, logical thinking, and an effective problem-solving approach, so I guide students through relevant concepts and provide practice based on their examination requirements.
I follow a structured lesson plan for my classes and conduct interactive sessions where students are encouraged to participate actively. I explain concepts step by step and make sure students have a clear understanding before progressing to more challenging topics. I also encourage students to ask questions and discuss their doubts openly, allowing me to identify areas where additional explanation or practice may be required.
Regular practice and assessment are important parts of my teaching approach. I use a whiteboard to explain concepts, demonstrate different methods of solving problems, and work through questions during the class. I encourage students to attempt problems independently and then review their approach with me. This helps them improve their accuracy while developing the confidence to tackle unfamiliar questions.
I offer both online and offline Mathematics classes and work with students according to their academic goals and requirements. Whether the objective is to strengthen school-level concepts, prepare for board examinations, or develop the aptitude and problem-solving skills required for competitive exams, I aim to provide structured and focused guidance. My goal is to help students develop a strong foundation in Mathematics and become more confident and independent problem solvers.
