I understand that you want to address 2 problems: 1. In your mind, you have correlated both the first step is to understand that these are not related stuff. Be confident in who you are and everything is work in progress. We all are evolving. 2. For fastest improvements in English as well as confidence in spoken English, take good literature books or TOI/Hindu/Business Insider. Do the loud reading of the paragraph. Start with 5-10 minutes and then go up to 30 minutes. Initially, it will feel very awkward. Keep up the work and soon you will give lots of attention to the speed of reading, pronunciation, and grammar but at an automatic level. With this, you can see improvements in as less as 5 days. read less

First things first English is just another language. So don't confuse being a good speaker with being a good Communicator in the English Language. Perhaps, you are already an excellent communicator in your native language and just need to hone your spoken English skills. Here are a few tips to help you with this: 1) Listening to content in English. Unless you listen to excellent English, you cannot reflect it back verbally. 2) For some time switch over to English as your preferred language of communication (even if you make some mistakes!) which means listen to the news only in English and read newspapers and books only in English. 3) Practice short spontaneous speaking and record it on your phone. Listen to it and spot the errors. Make a note and correct them then and there 4) Last but not the lease: Strengthen your base of grammer. If you need help enroll with a teacher who can focus on the practical aspects of grammer. Lastly always learn English in English. read less

Very importantly, you need to break your concern areas into multiple focused skills. Unable to crack interviews can be stressful and can be a result of not only English language skills and fluency but also thorough preparation. As far as language skills are concerned, to be a good communicator, you can follow few of the immediate tips: 1. Switch over to speaking in English and avoid translating from your mother tongue. Grammatical errors can be avoided by revisiting basic grammar fundamentals and increasing your comfort with the language. 2. Keep it short and simple: KISS principle of keeping short sentences help a lot to avoid grammatical errors. Prepare answers for a laundry list of anticipated questions. A handy script helps too. Spontaneous and ease in small talks go a long way. 3. Listen to English content. In today's graphically inclined world, reading newspaper, articles, blogs, books, etc will not only improve your vocabulary and sentence usage skills but also increase your general awareness which, in turn, will help in answering interview questions with greater ease. read less
