What should I do to become an intermediate keyboard player without any training?

I'm a Freelance Musician currently residing in Bangalore. Classes will be at students home.

First learn the Music concepts along with the notations. There are many resources for the same. Then practice on a regular basis.

Get to know the basic theory from YouTube. Practice scales with both hands and be consistent for atleast 2 months.

How many chords are there in keyboard. How much time will it typically take to pick up speed?
Your question itself is not correct. A chord is when 2 or more keys are pressed on the keyboard. A triad is a chord when the 1st, 3rd and 5th notes of a scale are played together. e.g if C,E & G keys are pressed together the C triad (chord) played.
