How can one do vocal training without using a keyboard or any other musical instrument?

I'm a Freelance Musician currently residing in Bangalore. Classes will be at students home.

You can use shruti box (tanpura or harmonium) which is an electronic device to set the scale. This helps you to monitor your vocal practice and also practice in different scales(shrutis).

Your question itself is not correct. A chord is when 2 or more keys are pressed on the keyboard. A triad is a chord when the 1st, 3rd and 5th notes of a scale are played together. e.g if C,E & G keys are pressed together the C triad (chord) played.
