One is able to listen and comprehend conversations about topics regularly encountered in daily life and classroom situations, and is able to pick up necessary information from short conversations spoken slowly. For being eligible for job on the basis of these level tests, one has to clear atleast N3 or N2. What is the duration of N5 level? 
It takes 6 months to finish the course with practice but learning N5 level Japanese is possible in 3 months.

I just graduated with a bachelor's degree in japanese honors from Visva Bharati university and I also have completed JLPT n3 with 89.4%.
