You should learn both to speak and write Japanese side by side. It is the easiest way to learn the language.

Japanese language tutor N3 JLPT qualified who teach N5 & N4

Both speaking and writing should be done simultaneously. Both are important. In fact, Speaking, listening, reading and writing all should be done simultaneously to have good command over the language.

Without learning how to write, you will not be able to read and will have limited understanding of sentences and words . In short, you can't get fluent in Japanese. read less
