I am sales professional having experienced of 4 years. I want to enter in software industry. I am b.e IT and MBA. I am not good at coding initially so I have joined MBA program. Since i was in the same situation as you & i came through the following with Non-IT background. Right now there is big scope for Build & Release or DevOps where it over the past 15 years it has gained importance & been stable under all critical recessions. may doesn't know that it exists but companies like Google, Yahoo, Facebook, Twitter etc.. are practicing them. Unlike other software engineering disciplines SCM or Build & Release focuses mainly on applying processes, methodologies & best practices followed by using tools/software which aid quicker product releases.Thus it is an open world for someone from IT/Non-IT background who wants to make an career into IT without much knowledge about programming. ** Happy Learning ** read less

That is not necessary go for SAP MM Certification. Most of candidates are working and getting good salary package without certification. Basically you have to start your training.
