Keep the price till Rs. 5- Rs. 8 K. Learn on basic keyboard then shift to expensive one. But if you are sure you want to play for long term then buy something near Rs. 11 K. I think Yamaha series has Rs. 11 K piano.

For beginners Casio ctk 3200 or Yamaha e 343 are good to start with. If your budget is up to Rs. 20000 then Casio ctk Rs. 7300 INR has lot of features and for the realistic tones I will prefer you to purchase Yamaha psr 455.

Weighted keys, and touch sensitivity, polyphonic keyboard. 88 keys would be best. With pedal.

I do not think Roland or Korg would be preferable because they mostly are for Professionals. read less

How many chords are there in keyboard. How much time will it typically take to pick up speed?
Your question itself is not correct. A chord is when 2 or more keys are pressed on the keyboard. A triad is a chord when the 1st, 3rd and 5th notes of a scale are played together. e.g if C,E & G keys are pressed together the C triad (chord) played.
