Salt analysis holds a decent weightage in JEE Advanced chemistry and it is advisable to do it for the exam. You can get a comprehension or passage type question from it and it will fetch you easy marks if you know the concepts well as it isn't too time taking to deduce the answer then. Moving on to your question, it would be better to follow a book and practice well for being thorough in salt analysis rather than watching some online content. First look up qualitative analysis from NCERT and then go through a book like OP Tandon, you can look for their online copy if you don't have them with you. Op Tandon has some good passage type questions which will really help you build concepts. Practice will really make you remember each concept nicely. After practicing questions, go for past year questions from the topic and that would complete your preparation for salt analysis. Just try to make some funny or catchy codes for remembering the chapter and you will be able to score in it. Don’t worry! Work Hard! read less
