Getting good rank in JEE Mains is very easy as compared to cracking JEE-Advanced. You can get very good NIT by good rank in JEE Mains. If you see JEE Mains 2016 paper, most of the questions are NCERT level specially in Physics and Chemsitry. If you are doing self study, I'd suggest RD Sharma for Maths...

Getting good rank in JEE Mains is very easy as compared to cracking JEE-Advanced. You can get very good NIT by good rank in JEE Mains. If you see JEE Mains 2016 paper, most of the questions are NCERT level specially in Physics and Chemsitry. If you are doing self study, I'd suggest RD Sharma for Maths and HC Verma for Physics. Solve NCERT thoroughly for Physics,Chemistry and Maths (Very Important) Practice more and focus on accuracy as well as Speed for JEE Mains. All the best read less
