The result of IELTS consists of a score in each of the four skills, which is further calculated to give the Overall Band score or Final Mark. The performance is rated in each skill on a scale of 1 to 9 .If you get eight then it is understood that you have operational command of the language with only occasional unsystematic inaccuracies and inappropriacies. Misunderstandings may occur in unfamiliar situations. Handles complex detailed argumentation well. But the highest being is nine, which means the candidate has a high operational command of the language that is seen to be appropriate, accurate and fluent with complete understanding.
