Both IELTS and PTE can be used for similar requirements i.e. to study in foreign universities but the pattern of both the tests is different although the basic language assessment is done on similar parameters namely Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing.

the best way to learn english, is to subscribe to english news paper, every headlines, in the news paper and word finding and using it while speaking in broken english in start will help them to improve fast and with fun.
