IELTS academic is rigourous as it's primairy aim is to establish equivalence in lingustic skills to pursue academic courses and undersrand the relevant material, meeting the benchmark of overseas universities. IELTS general is more of a attestation of minimum language skills for Work Permit etc., generally associated with travel, work and living in overseas countries. read less
