What is the difference between IELTS Academic & IELTS General, and who can take the IELTS Academic?

The IELTS Reading and Writing parts are different in IELTS general, rest all remians the same for both IELTS academic and general. IELTS Academic is taken up by students who are looking for IELTS score as an admit criteria to get admission in universities and colleges.
