If you want to score above band 8 in IELTS because it opens many doors then here are some tips to achieve it: For the IELTS reading test, you need to have a strong command over English to understand the written word. They can be lengthy, confusing, complex English and more. Thus, while preparing for the exam, you need to do a lot of reading. It could be news articles, scientific analysis or observation by academicians of current issues and matters like the latest application of artificial intelligence or development of waste management systems. For the listening test, you need to have the ability to understand the language. The accent and the matter of which is being spoken of in a conversation. Coming to the writing section, it is often considered as one of the toughest sections in the IELTS. This test will measure several parameters like grammar, sentence construction, essay structure etc. For the speaking test, you need to have the ability to hold the conversation or like merely explaining a complex idea.
