What is paraphrasing?
Paraphrase is a restatement of a text, passage, or work giving the meaning in another form.
E.g., many people drive their cars over the speed limit.
How will you paraphrase it - rewrite words, a phrase so that it has the same meaning?
Instead of Many people - most people, a lot of people
over - exceed, maximum
So your sentence will read like this - Most people while driving their car exceed their speed limit or A lot of people drive their vehicle with a maximum speed limit.
Paraphrasing is an essential skill for mastering the writing skill in IELTS.
